Running a nonprofit museum or gallery and running a for-profit small business has at least one similarity: endless day to day work and challenges that make it easy to lose sight of the big picture: the reason why we chose to do what we do.
So last week, we dedicated a meaningful chunk of time going back to the origins of CultureSpots. We talked about why we decided to create our platform and why we feel so strongly that it matters even more than ever right now. The answer lies in our core appreciation for what you do, and the importance of your work. Especially in times like this, when turmoil, conflict and misinformation abound, our cultural institutions, museums and galleries serve as reliable beacons of the enlightenment, empathy and understanding that are essential components of a functioning civil society.
If we can play a role in helping you do that, then it makes it all worth it.
In this short video, we get into that feeling place. Care to join us?
Thank you for doing what you do.
Enjoy your journey,
Founder, President/CEO of CultureSpots
